Privacy & PDPA Notice

Last updated: September 2026

This notice explains how Lee Mou Yen, trading as Henry Lee ("I", "me"), collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit this website, book a session, or engage me as your insurance and financial advisor. It is written to meet Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

In short

I only use your data to give you advice and manage your policies. I share it with insurers, partners you choose to work with, and the tools I use to book and message you — never for anything else. You can ask what I hold, correct it, or opt out at any time.

01

Who I Am

I am a licensed insurance agent registered with Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd, operating under Lee Mou Yen (Registration No. 201903245620 / MA0244914-H), based at Bangunan Tokio Marine Life, 1st Floor, No. 10 Jalan Laksamana, 75000 Melaka.

02

What Data I Collect

Depending on how you interact with me, I may collect:

  • Contact details — name, phone number, email, and WhatsApp handle.
  • Booking details — the session type, date, and time you select through the booking calendar.
  • Financial and health information — only if you choose to share it during a clarity or review session, or as part of an insurance application.
  • Messages — anything you send me directly via WhatsApp or the booking form.
03

How I Use Your Data

I use your data to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and schedule sessions.
  • Provide financial and insurance advice tailored to your situation.
  • Prepare, submit, and service insurance applications and policies on your behalf.
  • Follow up on claims, renewals, and changes to your coverage.

I do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the advice or services you've engaged me for, and I do not sell your data.

04

Who I May Share Your Data With

Your data may be shared with:

  • Insurers — Tokio Marine Life and other insurers, only as needed to process an application, claim, or policy you've asked me to handle.
  • Phillip Mutual — if you engage me for unit trust or investment planning.
  • Finex & Co Legacy Advisory — if you engage me for estate planning or legacy structuring.
  • SnapWill — only if you choose to sign up for their will-writing app on my recommendation. I guide you through the process, but SnapWill handles your data directly once you sign up on their platform, under their own privacy policy.
  • Service providers — such as TidyCal (booking) and WhatsApp, which I use to communicate and schedule sessions with you.

I do not share your data with any other third party without your consent, except where required by law.

05

How I Protect Your Data

I take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep your data secure, and I only keep it for as long as needed to provide advice, service your policies, or meet legal and regulatory requirements.

06

Your Rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data I hold about you.
  • Request corrections to inaccurate data.
  • Withdraw your consent to further contact or processing, at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact me using the details below.
